We had an amazing time at Samyama retreat. It's a perfectly calm place in the jungle just a 3min walk from a wonderful, small beach - beautifully located huts near a small river and you wake up feeling like in a tree house. The owner went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional, made sure we were happy & content, organised a pick-up from the airport and gave us good tips on places to see in the area. The whole crew was very kind and the atmosphere is calm & relaxed. No problem with mosquitos and it gets nice and cool during the nights. Complimentary morning tea/coffee to enjoy on the balcony and fruit juices to die for. Dinners were also super delicious. Make sure to try their lassi and Malai Kofta or Palak Paneer. So good. You have to know that the road leading up to Samyama is a bit difficult to drive on but it's absolutely worth it. We walked a lot around here, too. Take a 20min walk down to Agonda to get the beach town vibe/some vegan restaurants like Zest or 45mins to Kakolem beach (beautiful remote lagune) which was a tip we got here. We will definitely come back to Samyama if we come back to Goa in the future!

We were lucky enough to spend Christmas and New Years at the Hilias Retreat. It felt like home here. From the time we arrived the hospitality was perfect and they were so friendly and welcoming. The room as great and included a fridge and all toiletries were kept fully stocked. This place is quiet yet only a few steps to the beach. Highly recommended!

I had an excellent stay. The location is beautiful, just behind te beach. The huts are cosy and comfortable, with a nice veranda where you can chill. Making my stay truly incredible were Ruban's great morning Yoga classes and his warmth and hospitality. Warmly recommend Yoga Palolem to everyone!

How we glad that we chose Maria Guest House for accomodation on Goa, it was perfect choice! The room, towels, bed sheets were clean, also unlimited hot water 😁 Our room also had nice terrace with palm view where you can sit and relax. The place is 3 minutes walk to Palolem beach! The best point about MG House is his owner Mir! Mir helped us in all questions, recommended best places to eat and visit, he was very kind and attentive. Perfectly clean rooms and all interior. Rooms spacious with tea and coffe facillities, very comfortable beds and balcony with sofa and lovely garden view (if you choose garden view room of course). Only 2 minutes walk to the beach along the palm trees path, many shops and restaurants around Gulu, the owner is an Angel. Totally. I think it was my best stay in India ever and I will be back for sure.
