It is really beautiful and cozy. It even had real and original frescoes in the room we had. The staff was very friendly and helpful, we even met the owner who told us about the rich history of the hotel. PS: the breakfast was excellent!!

Excellent and professional service by staff. Very attentive and helpful in all issues! Very clean and bright lights in the room. Fantastic location in the heart of downtown with few minutes walk to Uffizi, other museums, shopping area and many nice cafes and restaurants.

It is centrally located and can reach most of the main attractions on foot within 15min. Special thanks to Lucas who offered needed help in calling the local tour operator regarding my trip and successfully got a refund in the end.

This former Augustine convent of the 13th century is next to the Uffizi Gallery, facing Florence's Ponte Vecchio. The roof garden with bar offers views of the cathedral.

I got a room at a discounted price. The hotel is gorgeous, the location is absolutely perfect, and the breakfast delicious.

Hotel Balestri faces the Arno River in central Florence. Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi Gallery are a quarter mile away. It features a roof terrace with lovely city views.

We did not stay at hotel but at luxurious apartment 6 minutes away with small terrace with fantastic view. Rooms were large even exquisite. The staff at hotel where we had particularly friendly and helpful Italian style. Apartment was very close to Ponte VECCHIO between piazza del signoria and pitti palace. Extraordinary!

everything!!! pristine and spacious. a place for everything. such a comfortable bed and pillows. view of David from our window. great cafe restaurant just downstairs not to mention the ideal location central to everything. wonderful staff for check in and check out. provided a personalized list of restaurants and sights. arranged a discount for appetizers and wine at the adjacent restaurant.

The location is first-rate; it is conveniently situated close to all historic sites. The room was immaculate and updated. We ate breakfast every day upstairs, and the choices were plentiful and excellent. The waitstaff were accommodating and friendly. The front desk staff were always professional. They helped me organize an excursion to Tuscany, made excellent dining suggestions, and general recommendations. I can’t wait to return!
