The rooms are exquisite, very spacious and newly decorated. The onsen were also terrific, an incredibly authentic experience with robes also provided in the rooms. Lastly, the food was incredible. Breakfast and dinner with so many courses at such high quality they almost make the room feel like it’s free. Lastly I need to say an incredible thank you to the staff who went out of their way to help us when our friend broke his leg out running. They made sure we had a wheelchair and even drove us to the top of the mountain in order to have a simpler time accessing the bus to asahikawa

Definitely my best stay in Japan. The hotel is beautiful, the location is so peaceful and the service is top-notch. The staff is so polite and friendly. The food was also amazing and I really felt that I was experiencing true Japanese cuisine.

We used this hotel as a base for our hikes into the mountains in summer. It is perfectly located for this. The owners are very helpful and knowledgeable and were able to advise us for the best walks we had in all of Japan. Apart from that, we had the best food of our whole stay in Japan here in this hotel!
Guests at Hotel Taisetsu Onsen&Canyon Resort can enjoy indoor/outdoor public hot-spring baths and request for relaxing massages. Some hot-spring baths are available 24/7.

We had a Japanese style room with western beds. The beds were super comfy. The room was clean with a private outlook of the valley. The buffet provided a huge array of tasty dishes.
