The host was exceptionally friendly and helpful. She gave us a thorough introduction of the facilities. The appartment itself is as authentic as it gets. Despite the age, you don't have to miss any modern amenities. The beds are super comfy and warm.

The hotel is absolutely delightful. The food is exquisite and the rooms super stylish and comfortable. The Japanese garden at the back is trolley beautiful and the staff are unbelievably helpful and welcoming. It is a gorgeous, quiet neighbourhood, next to a temple and the philosophers walk which leads to another temple as well as major museums and also very convenient for the local metro which we used to get around.
