The hotel is super fantastic and worth to stay. The hotel staff are very polite and can speak good english. The facilities are super, out of my expectations. Room are big and clean. Love the private outdoor onsen so much, the public onsen is very good too. Luckily we stay for 2 nights to enjoy the stay.

The meals were incredible, the staff were very attentive, and the location is beautiful. Our room was spacious and had a private onsen. The two "public" onsens are lovely and overlook the river. The public onsens can be reserved and there was always at least one available. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a good experience. For hikers, there is a mountain trail right outside Kakurean Hidaji.

Stunning mountain area. The onsen was incredible! You are really surrounded by forest. The meals we had were the best food we ate in the country. Real home cooking perfection. The onsen was a delight even in summer.

Very close to the bus station, we stopped here on our way from Matsumoto to Takayama.
Japanese-style room (ryokan), on the table a Japanese tea set (a teapot and bowls) with good sencha tea is waiting.
The available natural hot springs are a great place to rest and relax.
Meals in an atmospheric atmosphere in a yakuta with haori. Dinner is really delicious, quite decent fine dining. Breakfast is equally good.

Beautiful place with amazing hot springs (for private use). Perfect for a relaxing stay, rooms were very comfortable and service was excellent! Tao (hope I’m spelling that right) was very sweet and attentive. We also had dinner and breakfast and food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend this place! 👍

We’ve travelled a great deal and this is one of the most memorable stays we’ve ever had
anywhere. We were looking for a genuine onsen experience away from the crowds and this was way beyond what we expected: a beautiful and tranquil setting, tastefully designed rooms and bath facilities indoor and outdoor, very refined traditional food and excellent management and staff. A bonus is that the bus ride to get there is very scenic.
Tabist Kazeyuki features a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within 35 km of Takayama Station and 37 km of Hida Minzoku Mura Folk Village.

Great accommodation in Hirayu Onsen. May be the best accommodation i ever had in my travels. The private outdoor onsen was amazing, staff very serviceable and room spotlessly clean.

We went to Kazeya in our honeymoon. We had an upgrade for a room with a private Onsen and it was amazing. I couldn’t ask for a more perfect resting after walking days and days in Tokyo. The food in this Onsen was perfect and the staff speak good english. Everyting was perfect. Thank you so much for the hospitality

The rooms are big (enormous for Japanese standards), the staff is super helpful and friendly and tie cuisine is tasty. Yes, the hotel is a bit older but clean and well functioning. Plus the own private hot tub with hot spring water is great to have
