This was the most amazing accomodation i had in 2 weeks travelling around Japan! The house was amazingly nice, comfortable, clean. Every detail was designed with a great taste. It’s a single apartment not far from Morning markets. Fab location. Super comfy bed! It’s two levels so if you can’t do stairs, it’s not a good option as bathroom is downstairs. Loved the poem and artwork on walls. Very beautiful And thoughtful ❤️

I highly recommend Tabino Shiori when you are visiting Takayama. We stayed here during the autumn festival in Takayama. The location is fantastic, super close to the shrine and all the festival events and markets. It is in the middle of all the traditional houses and streets and the house itself is super beautiful as well. The hosts are truly amazing people. They are so friendly and welcoming. We felt right at home. They also provided the option to have a traditional diner upon arrival the first day. We did this and have no regrets. It was delicious and a fun experience. The house was also very clean, there was a small kitchen and a very nice modern bathroom. I will definitely stay here again!
