We wanted a hotel close to all the shopping and the shrine at Asakusa. This was perfect. Very clean - great staff. Perfect. We enjoyed the 15-minute walk from Asakusa Station - over the scenic bridge and down the block to the hotel. The view of SkyTree is excellent. If it is raining, the number 24 bus will take you from Asakusa Station to a point 2 blocks form the hotel.

The stay was excellent from every point of view possible. The hotel has tatami floors inside the rooms (if I am not mistaken) and that's why you need to leave the shoes right at the entrance (you get slippers to move around the hotel and room). The room was very spacious, extremely clean, with a kitchenette and also a microwave. The general design felt to be inspired from traditional japanese architecture while also being very modern, a good mix between the two. We were provided welcome drinks at the reception and we also had 4 drinks (2 sodas, 2 alcoholic) waiting for us in the fridge, free of charge. There is a superb rooftop terrace on the 6th floor where you can relax on sofas and have a beautiful view of the Tokyo Skytree Tower.

Good location in a quiet neighbourhood near the park and SkyTree. Direct metro line to the airport. Lots of different cafes nearby. Walking distance to Knife Street and also close to the Hokusai Museum. All major attractions are no more than an hour away. Clean spacious room (all rooms are themed) with washing machine.
