Good location on the beach, very friendly host who cooked some excellent dinner for us. The room is clean and the bathroom is spotless. Highly recommended!

Absolutely loved our stay here. An idyllic setting right on the beach, with the softest sand and clear blue water. The staff made our stay, all so friendly and welcoming, especially the owner Mandy. She welcomes you with open arms and makes you feel right at home, she can't do enough for you! Food is also amazing and home cooked - we ate all of our meals here over the 3 days. Highly recommend a stay!

Located just a 3‑minute stroll from the serene Nilaveli Beach, this cozy B&B is in a perfect spot for easy beach days and exploring nearby attractions like Pigeon Island National Park and the Kanniya Hot Springs . Our room was spacious – with a private bathroom, balcony overlooking the garden, crisp AC, reliable Wi‑Fi, and great comfort overall . It quickly became our peaceful little haven after a day in the sun. But what truly set this place apart was the warmth of the hosts—Suman, Mallika, and their family. They greeted us even during our early arrival, having our room already prepared . Mallika’s home‑cooked Sri Lankan breakfast on the terrace was a daily treat—delicious, generous, and served with heartfelt kindness . The atmosphere is so relaxed and welcoming—complete with friendly cats, chickens wandering through the garden, and a homely ambience that truly made us feel “at home” . They went above and beyond by helping arrange tuk‑tuks, and transfers, you name it—with helpful, local insider knowledge . "C U Hostel is a hidden gem in Trincomalee! 🌴 Despite Google suggesting Nilaveli Beach properties, I stumbled upon this hostel near Uppuveli Beach and was blown away by its lively ambiance! 🌟 The vibe here is infectious, and I felt right at home. 💕 Great value for money, too! 💸 What truly sets C U Hostel apart, however, is the exceptional service provided by the owner and staff. They're proactive, empathetic, and genuinely invested in ensuring guests have an amazing stay. 🤝 The rooms are perfect for a good night's sleep - I loved how pitch dark it was, allowing me to sleep soundly without any light disturbances. 😴💤 And, with a cafe in the works, this place is bound to become even more special! 🤤 Can't wait to see it reach its full potential. We have just enjoyed 3 nights at this absolutely wonderful hotel. From start to finish, the service was 5* we were greeted with a Hindu tradition, which was special. Thank you Moheshi (inthinknthis was her name) All members of staff took the time to talk to us and get to know us with genuine interest. Including Emran at reception. The pool attendent was a great man, and we enjoyed talking with him. Special mention to Roshan in the restaurant who really tried to ensure we enjoyed our breakfast and make indian tea the way we like it. ( Breakfast) was honestly a feast on days when there were fewer guests we had a la carte. The hotel itself has wonderful touches. Everything is brand new and so untouched. The towels and linen were immaculate, and everywhere was clean. The gym was well equipped, and the swimming pool was beautiful with a stunning view of the sea. Our room was spacious, we loved the outdoor terrace. The grounds are well kept and constantly maintained. We would love to come back when the sea is calmer to enjoy the beautiful ocean. Thank you for making our stay memorable. ( we considered staying a few more nights, but the rain was relentless)

Excellent location in the middle of the local community, short walk to the beach, comfortable, clean accommodation, lovely garden, nice people. Beach with palm trees and other vegetation providing shade. We were very happy here.
