Everything was excellent — the design, the staff, the comfort, and the coziness of the place made it feel like home. I enjoyed it so much that I spent more time in the hotel than touring Tangier. This is one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in so far. It gives you a feeling of home, even though my stay was only for one night, I take with me great memories. Joanna and Zakaria are putting all their dedication to this project and You can see that reflected in every detail and corner of the house. We loved everything about our stay in this beautiful historic home we felt like royalty! Our suite was outstanding the most beautiful location deep into the Kasbah walking through gorgeous streets shops restaurants palace our host incredibly kind and helpful had a guide from the Lalla Soulika walked us through the corridors to a scenic restaurant on top of the hill outstanding!! The story behind the name Lalla Soulika is another reason I would come back and stay here again!! We absolutely love it.

The space is beautifully designed, very clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect,close to the city’s main attractions yet quiet enough to relax. Helpfull printed guide made by French owner. Tanger is a very big and bussy city but the location of the appartement was a restful.

This apartment was incredible! We stayed there for 2 nights, but I wish we could have stayed for 2 weeks. It was bright and airy during the day, with a cute terrace where we ate breakfast and hung laundry to dry in the sun. It was spotlessly clean, and everything seemed new. There is a spacious living room with a nice big couch and TV, a nicely equipped kitchen, and 2 bedrooms. The room with the double bed is in the back of the apartment so there was no street noise at night. The bed and pillows were so soft and comfortable! And the bathroom was clean with a nice hot shower and impressive water pressure. The location was great, it’s in a residential part of the Marshan neighborhood of Tangier and is walking distance to the medina, on your way you pass the lovely Mendoubia garden. There was a grocery store and fruit shops and bakeries right around the corner. We had a little trouble finding the apartment at first but the host came to meet us and was incredibly friendly and welcoming! He said his family still lives on another floor of the building, so it’s clear they take really good care of it and keep the building safe and secure. I’m so glad we found this place in Tangier and would go back in a heartbeat!
