Kailash is in a quieter street of Kathmandu, its close by to most of the things you need as a traveler, including for me a number of quality Halal restaurants, and the overall location is Thamel, which is where most foreigners stay. The staff was very accommodating, always pleasant to talk to. And the manager is exceptional. I hope to see them all again on my next trip. I think that is the highest compliment is to say I would return to this hotel without hesitation.

The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the sheets smelled nice. They gave me a balcony room which was really lovely. The room itself was pretty spacious. The staff were friendly and responded well to my requests. Reasonable price. Breakfast was also good. I genuinely enjoyed my stay here and will defo stay here again if I ever get to come back to Kathmandu.

Great hotel! I stayed here three times on my trips in/out of Kathmandu, it’s a really excellent place! Staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating, allow very easy early- and late-check-in based on odd arrival times, comfortable rooms and bathrooms, delicious breakfast included, really nice rooftop to watch the sunset or read a book! Minutes walking from every in Thamel, very convenient location. Highly recommend!
