Excellent place to stay to relax after a long haul flight, total peace and quiet, the villa is very spacious and has all you would need, the buffet breakfast was excellent, the staff were all very friendly and helpful, just a 25 minute stroll from the marina where there are some restaurants.

The landscape is beautiful, calming and peaceful with the pond and sea in the background adding to tranquillity and restfulness especially when healing from losing loved ones.
Breakfast was tasty, appealing to the eyes and healthy. The traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony was the highlight of our experience. Thank you all at Dear Villa Resort with special thanks to Mr Gouw.

Fantastic spacious granny flat. Parking space is down a very steep driveway. Google shows walk to beach via street is 15 minutes (big hills) but there is a track from the bottom of the driveway straight to the beach. Full kitchen with full sized fridge/freezer dishwasher, microwave, toaster, oven, gas hotplates. All very new and beautifully presented. Bathroom is lovely. Heated towel rail. Very comfortable and peaceful. Washing machine and powder provided.

Great layout of apartment. Wonderful furnishings and linens. Comfy bed. Fabulous views from room and deck, great to watch beach goers, people on jetty, swimmers, kayaks, boats. Had everything we needed.

The apartment was perfect. The bed was so comfortable and the bedding was clearly high quality, so we had a great nights sleep.
The cooking facilitates are more expensive than the pictures shown & breakfast was great, our host supplied yogurt, cereals, fruit, bread & butter, tea coffee and hot chocolate. The host gave us some useful information about the area and where to go, places to eat and visit. She was lovely.
We have traveled all over NZ and stayed in lots of types of accommodation, this was a bargain and we have no hesitation in recommending it.
