What can I say, it was just a great choice. We always look for a mix of quality, location and room size. But this was so much more as in top of being a great hotel, the staff were amazing at every section. Nothing was too much trouble from the kind receptionist who found us a room to be able to check in at 9.30am after 24 hours of travelling to the concierge who took care of our damaged luggage which was sent for repairs. Location 100%, breakfast superb and big choice, executive lounge was always welcome for a cheeky drink or two before going out… it just goes on. One of the best and nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Granted, it’s not cheap, but you will leave thanking the staff for a wonderful stay. Plus, the greenery is found at every corner which gives such a clean and refreshing sensation

Thbkication is fantastic in the center of Chinatown. I had a self contained single appartment, which was small, but extremely efficient arranged. Yani, Maica and Mary were very friendly helpful with checking in and out.

Location is great. Very near MRT stations and a lot of restaurants and food stalls nearby with Maxwell Hawker Centre and Chinatown just a few minutes walk. A wonderful pool to chill and very clean and safe premises. Beddings and pillows are the best we have had out of all the hotels we've been to that we have been looking to purchase them online. Rooms are a little tight specially if you have a lot of luggages but we knew it's pretty standard size for SIngapore hotels so it didn't bother us. We are a group of 22pax and we enjoyed our stay in Mercure Icon during the Christmas season.

The location is fantastic for MRT which is directly across the road. Great selection of malls and Hawker street food and Chinatown's Pagoda Street markets. Something to see around every corner! Just a 30 minute walk to Marina Bay if you want to take in the sights. The room itself was very spacious and quiet. The bed was so comfortable! The aircon worked a treat. Reception staff were lovely and it wasn't an issue with our 4am check out. They even booked a taxi for us. Great stay!
