The location is outstanding! So peaceful, in the middle to the jungle. Eco Tao is luxurious in every respect but it is an understated luxury in harmony with nature. As soon as one arrives at Eco Tao, one feels relaxed. The body relaxes, so do the senses. It has everything one needs without any schnick-schnack. It's pure simplicity. Staff are very helpful and professional, everything is very well thought out and everything works. The pool is not large, but since the property only has 12 accommodation units in total, it never becomes crowded. Besides, the tranquility of the place just kind of enters everybody, so people are quiet, kind, respectful of each other.

Lovely clean resort . Friendly helpful staff. They gave useful advices. Taxi service is available for good price to discover the island and fo stay on different beaches . The restaurant is perfect too. A few beaches you can reach by walking through other resorts . In Thailand it’s possible to do so. 3 minutes walk to a small beach where the sunset is beautiful and it’s good for snorkeling too. Next to the resort there is a small supermarket too.

The room is just a gem for the price: lively decorated in Thai style, with a private pool warm enough even in the night, nicely lit, with an amazing view. The pics describe it as it is. The staff is super friendly and willing to help, took a bike here for a really reasonable price.

This is paradise on earth! Nothing less. We have travellled a LOT. And there is no place like this place. We had a very comfortable stay. The beds were very comfortable, we had lots of space- the view is exceptional, this is by far the most beautiful spot on the Island. Very friendly hosts. Every staff member seamed to be there just for us. Dinner served in less than 30 minutes by take away at the restaurant del sol- good food as well. Massage at the house in 10 minutes after we called. Amazing massage at reasonable prices. Driver there at the spot, and he was a carefull driver and very attentive to our needs and showed around the entire Island as well as complimentary pick up and drop off at the pier. They have free coffe, tea and drinking water and snorkeling gear to loan, and guys- you need it here because it is some of the best snorkeling you can imagine, with babysharks and giant turtles and rainbow fish- at your doorstep. Five minutes walk to shark bay. Yes- there are downsides. (or for some upsides- our tweens ans teens loved this part) You are living in the jungle. You will see lots of scolopenders, ants, frogs and gekkoes. We even had a friendly spider visit. But it is all part of the Experience, and as long as you keep the doors closed and clear out your plates, you wont be troubled. Thank you so much for this amazing stay- a memory for life, and we will be coming back! And ps- there is even more to explore, they have yoga classes in house, diving lessons- tours, you name it. They even have nettflix- and good wifi, which is insane, as you are basically on an Island- in the jungle. Go- just go!

It was such a beautiful place! Located on the hill which gives you a fantastic view from the balcony. Lovely room and absolutely great breakfast! Best pancakes I’ve had in a long time. It’s simple but great value. Lovely hosts in general. I extended the stay and will 100% come back
