A fun eccentric owner who was very hospitable. We ran out of ingredients for food and he offered his own. Was a fun and kind host that was more than happy to help us with whatever we needed. Thanks again :).
‘The Palace’ was a fantastically unique space - unlike anywhere else we stayed in Tunisia.

I cannot add anything more positive to say about Dar El Medina that hasn't already been said. But I think special recognition should be given to all the staff I encountered who were friendly, professional and more than willing to give that extra something.
This especially applies to Nede, who first checked me in and provided the historical perspective of the building. Also, the chef, Slah, not only cooked me an excellent dinner of fish couscous but talking with him in English was both enlightening and a pleasure.
Finally, I wish to give extra mention to the awesome breakfast that was provided by a smiling Safa every morning. Not only was the breakfast delicious but also extremely filling.
I would surely return to Dar El Medina given a chance.

We were staying in this old and very traditionally decorated house. The decorator paid attention to the tiniest details to create this real beauty! The owner selected such stuff to give it warm, Arabic, welcoming soul!
Ahmed, thank you very much to you and the lady in the kitchen that made our stay so pleasant.

The rooms are everything the add on booking says and more. The host is extremely helpful and visits the apartment everyday to clean up and is always happy to answer any questions you might have. Additionally, the location is perfect - around 5 minutes walking distance to the Medina and in a perfect place to catch a cab to go anywhere in Tunis.

This used to be a family home which has been converted to a guest house. It is spacious, beautiful, well cared for and a fabulous location in the Medina. The terrace has a beautiful view of the Medina and surrounding City. Staff were very helpful and friendly. As were the locals. Everyone was most helpful.

It was a very wonderful experience on our first night in Tunisia, the owner collected us from the airport. Even though there is a barrier of language between us and the owner, he tried his best to help us as a true gentleman. A thanks to the lady as well for giving my wife a reusable bag.
