A fun eccentric owner who was very hospitable. We ran out of ingredients for food and he offered his own. Was a fun and kind host that was more than happy to help us with whatever we needed. Thanks again :). ‘The Palace’ was a fantastically unique space - unlike anywhere else we stayed in Tunisia.

I was very impressed with the check in process. I was greeted warmly and provided a nice glass of lemonade. The restuarant was nice and the service staff was extremely professional. Here is an example: I accidently dripped some sauce on my short and the server went quickly into the kitchen and brought back a cleanser that took the stain off. There was a welcome basket of local fruit that was greatly appreciated and a thank you gift on check out (a locally made pottery dish).

We had an amazing stay at El Patio. Ahmed, Basma and her sister were extremely kind, helpful and contributed to make our vacation in Tunisia exceptional. Ahmed in particular gave us a lot of tips to help us discover hidden places in the Medina and we really appreciated having him around. The place is cozy and has a nice familiar vibe. It was an amazing place to stay, very beautiful and authentic. The host couple were very helpful and friendly. The location is absolutely perfect. Rooms were clean. We had a wonderful stay! The host was very kind and welcoming, always available if needed. The house was perfect, exactly as shown in the pictures: clean, tidy, and very cozy. The location is quite convenient for reaching the main attractions. A big plus was the private parking inside the property, where we could safely leave our car. Highly recommended!
