2. I really see how they put efforts into the design of every room, each with a unique style.

4. I went there during the last day of the year, the fee has thus been raised up but when at its normal, it has a pretty competitive price to be honest.

6. plenty of TV channels to watch: BBC, CNN, FRANCE24, Arirang, NETFLIX, YOUTUBE...etc, you name it.

Very nice place to stay. Host is welcoming and helpful. She spoke very good English, gave advice on places to visit and what buses to take to get there (easy to get around the city). It is also very nice to see the Lotus Pond near the hostel, especially at night when it is lit up. There is also a washing machine you can use, I was unsure how to use it, asked the host for advice and she insisted she would do the washing! Very kind and helpful. Room and facilities were very clean.

Cozy, small hotel with personal attention for you as a guest. Local knowledge is shared and recommemdations for restaurants and trips are readily available. All rooms are different. Mine had a double bed. The bed was uncommonly soft for an Asian hotel, but the owner will adapter to your needs as required.
The hotel does not serve breakfast ,but this gave me an opportunity to sample the local breakfast scene
It adds to the experience. .

Very nice and clean hotel in not so clean district. Great value for money, close to combinis and night market. In walking distanc to train station and mainly high speed train station of Kaohsiung.
