Excellent customer service!! Every single member of staff greeted us with a friendly smile and went above and beyond our expectations. When we returned to the Four Seasons at the end of our trip, the hotel welcomed us back with a tray of beautiful, delicious cupcakes ("Welcome Back!" written in sprinkles) in our room. NB The power went out nearly every night due to load shedding, but the generator kicked in within seconds each time.

Overall an excellent stay at Leighwood Lodge. The owners were such lovely people and couldn't do enough for me - it was mainly Vee who helped me during my stay and he was just great. The room was huge and so comfortable - I couldn't fault it. The breakfast was also fantastic. The swimming pool looked very clean and inviting but my stay was short so I didn't get to enjoy it sadly - I'll just have to come back! I also got laundry done while staying and this was very much appreciated!

Located 8 km from Monte Casino, Amberhall Guesthouse in Randburg features a garden with a small stream. All rooms have a flat-screen TV with satellite channels.

Peaceful, Tranquility in the middle of a busy area is hard to find. Thats exactly what this place represents. Nice clean area with friendly stuff, coupled a Caring & Hands on Owner. Breakfast was Super- Near great Facilities Like Monte Casino(Fun). CRC(Church) what else can one ask for? Will definitely consider it every time I do shot left around the area. The Cliffside is an absolute gem. On arrival one enters through the beautifully landscaped garden and proceeds into the contemporary and thoughtfully designed house. Amenities of the house include a lounge area which invites one to read, enjoy a game of chess (or other games), brew a fresh coffee/tea, or sip on a drink from the honesty bar. Outside the garden pool and sauna invite you to rest and recover. Not to forget the mountain trails leading directly from the lodge. Given the peaceful and secure space, it's easy to forget how near the bustling city is...yet with parking available and the ease of Uber, it's a quick journey for anyone heading out to town. Our room and terrace provided views of the city, was thoughtfully fitted with a comfortable bed, a generous bathroom with shower and large corner tub, quality toiletries, comfortable chairs, Apple TV, fresh flowers, mini bar, wifi, etc. etc. The delicious breakfast was served either in our room/terrace, in the garden, or the lounge area. It was truly the perfect stay in Johannesburg. We absolutely recommend staying here, and hope to be back again ourselves. Special thanks to Mmatau and Connie who welcomed us wholeheartedly and ensured our wellbeing throughout our stay.

The room was extraordinary—spacious, comfortable, with a nice bathroom and a tiny balcony. The staff was really helpful, and the common areas, like the dining room and living room, were bright, beautifully designed, and peaceful. If you want to rest like a queen, this is the perfect place!
