It is time to come up with a new rating system for hotels like Neuwirt. Five stars do not capture the uniqueness and perfection of this place which is newly renovated keeping with the authentic style of the region while also providing modern comforts. The old part of the building provides newly renovated simply designed rooms with the most luxurious beds. The rooms in the new part are uniquely designed each offering an unbelievable living experience. Our room had a sauna (which we did not use) and a bathroom with a shower that could fit 6 people. The beds are placed in a way that allows to look out the large patio doors to see the sky. The new rooms have a quiet AC, but we did not use it and opened our doors instead. The best way to describe our experience is to say that we forgot we were in a hotel. We felt home. We loved the restaurant which serves typical meat heavy Austrian food. Delicious.

The place was well located in the lovely town of Hailen with shops, restaurants & supermarket nearby. Host was helpful & contactable readily. The housekeeping lady was very friendly & helpful in providing us the necessary when needed. Checking in & out was easy.

Eveyrthing! The host sent us all the instructions in advance through Booking. It was easy to enter the building. The flat was very nice and clean. The beds were really comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. The bathroom was with jacuzzi. As soon as we arrived we went to the pool. We enjoyed it a lot. The weather was nice and the pool was very clean. There were also towels for the pool. I highly recommend! We were super satisfied and are planning to come back if we stay in Salzburg again.

Great hotel with amazing restaurant. High level of service, friendly and helpful staff. Location is perfect as close to Salzburg, Eagle nest and a lot of other places with astonishing mountains and lakes views. Also, 5 mins from the hotel you can find SPA therme to swim and relax.

Our impressions of this place were simply wonderful! Upon arrival, we were greeted by the smiling owner of the guest house, Hannelore. We had a pleasant conversation with her and then settled into our room. The guest house is located in a quiet and very pleasant town St.Koloman, with a church and a café opposite. You can also just take a walk around the area and enjoy the views of the hills. Grocery stores are in nearby towns, but we had a car, so it was not a problem for us. A special joy for us was interacting with the owner's dog, Benji - he is a very positive and cute dog. Our room felt like home, cozy and safe, and we didn't want to leave after spending three days there. The breakfasts were also good, always accompanied by a pleasant conversation with the owner and a calm atmosphere. Overall, our time at the guest house felt like a sweet dream. We felt like moving to this town 🙂

We travel with out 1yo baby and the host offered a wooden baby crib, but he room is big enough even to fit a family of 4, if the sofa is extended. The bed is confortable and they clean the room and change towels each day. Very big bathroom. Everywhere is super clean the rooms, the restaurant and the terrace. The heating working very well. Our room was facing the street and I was a bit worried when I read the reviews about the noise coming from the street, but it was not the case, once you close the windows there is no noise coming from the outside, the room is sound proof. You can see in the kitchen when the doors open that everything, food is very good, the restaurant is always full. Beef noodle soup and goulash are great. Breakfast is one of the best, and if you want coffee or something which is not at the buffet (e.g. any kind of eggs, bacon, etc), they will prepare it for you, just ask for it.

We liked everything about this apartment. It is well designed, spacious and also very clean. It felt like home! Parking infront of apartment in a safe, quiet area. Supermarket close by. Elizabeth and Verena are great hosts and were always ready to help us in any way. Highly recommended for families with kids.

The hosts Hanni and Anton were charming and very attentive. The chalet is superb and newly refurbished. Slightly out of town but a couple of miles from a really lovely swimming lake Haarbergsee. Few hundred meters from extra fast ev charger. Highly recommended walk to Bluntautal Lakes and waterfall. Fantastic!
