Fabulous spot!! Clean, comfortable, great staff, super nice vibe/atmosphere, and exceptional value for $$. Tucan Hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. Walking distance to some great restaurants, too - Whale Tail Brewery and Mosaic Wine & Sushi Bar are our favorites, we loved being able to walk to them! Amazing Stay at Casa Rucca – Highly Recommended! Casa Rucca in Playa Hermosa, Uvita is an absolute gem! The accommodation is beautiful—modern, new, and incredibly cozy, with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. It’s the perfect blend of style and function, making it feel like a home away from home. Amazing shower with good pressure and hot water. The host was fantastic—super communicative and always ready to help with anything we needed, making our stay even more enjoyable. One of the highlights was the balcony—from there, we had the most amazing view and saw countless toucans, exotic birds, and even monkeys! It felt like we were living in the heart of nature. I would definitely recommend Casa Rucca to anyone visiting Uvita. It’s the perfect place to relax, unwind, and enjoy the beauty of Costa Rica! Highly recommended! Would come again for sure.

We stayed with our 3-year daughter. The rooms were kept very clean, the beds were comfortable, everything was perfectly organized. A nice living room and two rooms. In one there was a large double bed, in the other two separate beds that could be put together. We will definitely come back there 🫶

This is an excellent place! We stayed here on our way to Corcovado National Park and Iiked it so much that we actually returned on our way back. The rooms are modern, very comfortable and very clean, there was a pool and the staff are excellent. It is only 15 minutes driving to Marino Balleno National Park with its fantastic beaches and forest. There are many good restaurants in this town as well and a café in walking distance.

We thoroughly enjoyed the enormous pool and the surrounding in flower The house had a huge bed on the second floor, a very large bathroom, and a beautiful jacuzzi. The air conditioning was perfect. Adolfo was very helpful in providing us with information about nearby beaches and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the famous whale's tail tours to see humpback whales. It's simply perfect. I highly recommend it.

A great villa located near the river. The pool was amazing, and the territory is very beautiful and well-maintained. We saw many animals around the villa during our stay: toucans, agoutis, hummingbirds, a Jesus lizard and various birds. It was wonderful to learn many interesting facts about the local wildlife from the friendly hosts. They also gave us great recommendations on places to visit and organized excursions for us. We really liked them: river tour, coconut tour and night tour. All of them are highly recommended.
