The hosts are a lovely family, always ready to help you. The meals cooked for dinner are delicious. We loved our cabin, with a terrace with spectacular views and outdoor bathroom. The nature is wonderful and there´s wildlife all over the place, from ara´s to tamandua´s... A great location too if you want to discover the peninsula with your car. The local Tico family owners are very friendly and helpful able to organise trips etc. The food is excellent with tasty local dishes. The location is perfect for tours departing from Sierpe. Drake is also not too far, about 1.30 hr by good dirt road, and Jimenez at 1.15. Close to wetlands with lots of nature including birds and interesting natual swimming pool. Mangroove boat tour done by the family was great for us as we liked all of the birds. The host was absolutely fantastic (provided lots of additional information ahead of time and was very friendly and helpful on site) plus her food was super delicious. Great camaraderie with the other guests at least in part due to Stephane's welcome. The room was very comfortable in a quiet area. Perfect for a jump off place to go to Drake Bay.
