Here's a list of the great things about this house: -The owner is exceptional! He communicated with us 2 weeks before our arrival and answered all our questions. This was our first trip to CR, and he gave us so many great tips. He gave us recommendations for where to stop for lunch along the road to the property from San Jose to where to shop for groceries. He was also very flexible in coordinating payment. -Gilberto is the property manager and he was extremely attentive. He met us at the house within a minute of our arrival and he was always available any time we needed anything. In fact, we needed an extra blanket for one of the beds and Gilberto showed up with a new comforter within an hour. We have had room service at hotels take longer! We felt like with Gilberto, we had a concierge. -The house is set back from the main road and very private. It has tall hedges that surround it and a gated driveway for added security. At night, the porch has retractable doors that can be closed. CR is safe, but we appreciated the sense of safety of being in a house that had added security features. -The town of Parrita has everything that you need, but it is not touristy. It has multiple grocery stores and convenience markets, and it is halfway between Quepos and Jaco. Plus the Playa Bandera is only a five minute drive from the house and it is a gorgeous and almost deserted beach. If you want just a beach vacation, you can stay at Hotel Villa Elenita and never leave the town of Parrita. -The kitchen appliances are new and top notch. Everything was clean and operated without any problems. -The bathroom is huge, clean, has great hot water, and the water pressure is good. -The bedrooms are big with plenty of storage space, and the beds and pillows are amazing. Everyone in our family slept like babies at Hotel Villa Elenita. We felt like the beds at this vacation house were more comfortable than ours back home!

This place is amazing. I booked only one night on our way from Uvita to Monteverde due to a misscalculation, and already at the reception I was feeling sorry that we were staying just one night. The welcome was so hospitable and warm, the welcome drink was the cherry on top. Our room was spacious and beautiful, stylish decor, facing the jungle as I had hoped, cause we are light sleepers. They have a lovely pool area over looking the ocean, there is also a bar and a very nice restaurant, which both close at 10pm, so there will be no noise coming to the room from there. Be sure to try the chicken dish and mango monkey margarita! All the staff were kind, attentive and smiling. I hope we can return to this place, it was so relaxing. No need to leave the property at all, but there is a small town center a few kilometers to the south with a grocery store and a few restaurants, if you want to.

It's right by the beach, nice pool, free upgrade on our room, & the staff was PHENOMENAL!!

The staff was among the friendliest and most helpful I have ever met. On arrival we were personally welcomed by the manager on the parking area who ensured a car not belonging a client was removed out of the way. We got an immediate tour around the place orienting us to all amenities. I was provided with help in sorting out a confusion with a doctor's appointment - it was crucial - and had documents printed out on request. At every level, every query was answered and all help offered without hesitation. We enjoyed the setting with a lush garden, nice pool, and a magnificent beach. Early morning walks when the sun is just up, the temperature is in the pleasant range, you walk close to the waves that roll on shore and see pelicans fly low and in formation - that's a memory to savour. Swimming in the ocean (on days with little risk of rip tides) was a great experience and beach was never busy in any sense. - Must and will return!

The location is perfect. We loved the pool area. The apartments were clean and comfortable. The host is very kind and helpful. I would recommend the accommodation to others as well.
