It was a family run hotel with friendly staff. I can't speak Italian with only limited words, but the staff went out their way to help in any way they could. Location is bang in the middle of Portifino and Pisa and is a beautiful mountain view. The food from the restaurant is amazing!

Wonderful hosts, both Giullia and her daughter were very welcoming. The breakfast is fantastic (especially the home made tart) and Gragnola is a lovely, medieval village. We very much enjoyed our stay and will be coming back.

The appartement was very clean and roomy, very comfortable beds. The grounds of the farm is beautiful with very nice porch for outside sitting. The owner helped with everything, including turning the heating on before season!
