Superb traditional Japanese house which we had to ourselves and once settled it in we felt like we were real guests in the house. Peaceful setting amongst the rice paddy fields and within easy driving to the main town.

I think the hotel is only about 12 months old so you would expect it to be fresh. But it’s not just fresh. It’s immaculate. It looks like a ‘show hotel’, it’s that clean, tidy and the finish is impeccable. Even better than that, the staff are wonderful. Extremely helpful. Large (very large) high spec, well appointed rooms. The beds were the most comfy we had in a 3 week trip.
