The sister here looked after me really well, always making sure I had enough cold water (they refill and stock bottles in the fridge) and accompanying me to the bus stop the morning I left. She doesn't speak English (nor do I speak Nepali) but her friend can help with communication if required. The homestay is only 5-10 minutes' walk from the bus stop and the main street. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable and it was quiet, being in a more spacious area with sparse buildings. Not all rooms have air conditioning, so if you need it, check when booking or upgrade your room.

The staff were amazing. They went completely out of their way to help me whenever I needed it and gave me good advice on things to do and even helped take me to my bus in the morning. I couldn’t recommend this place highly enough.
