This place is a jewel! Abigail and the rest of the family are the sweetest people, so generous and working hard to make the guests feel comfortable. The common areas are located on the waterfront, it’s so relaxing. A social yet calm vibe, with guests from all ages. Great to have access to the kitchen, I cooked most of my meals. And the whole place is kept super clean at all times. A small tip: it quickly books out, but due to transport issues it happened several times during my stay that there were unoccupied beds. It could be worth inquiring on the day if you couldn’t get a spot.

Beautiful cottages, the kitchen area was great for socialising, and inside very clean. Cottages very well netted against mosquitoes and we felt very safe from unwanted guests despite being amongst grass and trees. Owner immensely friendly and helpful - she really made our stay special

We felt home directly, everyone was so lovely with us!! We stayed in one of the little houses, the AC works well so as the shower and the WiFi. The breakfast is changing every day with some local specialities to try, and taken in the beautiful garden close to the mansion. They packed some breakfast for us when we started a visit at 5am. We received the best advice on how to visit the island, including what to do to climb the volcano Hibok Hibok (you need a guide and a permit). Everything felt like a little tropical paradise, and really authentic compared to other places we have been in the Philippines. We also found an amazing and affordable restaurant 2 minutes away, we went back 3 times (Tambayan Sa Kanto Tuna Restaurant) Thank you for having us, we will come back for sure!

The room was super big and confortable, wifi worked well and when we had to move room the owner gave us an extender so we had even better wifi. The staff and the owner were always trying to make us feel confortable. You can rent a bike theee for a good price. Breakfast was really good too

The owner, Wing, was exceptionally involved and kind - always being open for a lighthearted chat - and worked hard to make sure all our needs were met. Rooms were tidy and well facilitated. Property was beautiful.

Hank is an excellent host, with great tips and advice. The duplex was spotless (I saw ours being cleaned for 2 Hrs after we checked out) with a cool terrace and cooking facilities for long stay residents. The gardens and birds were cared for daily and also near impeccable. Air-conditioning was not too noisy. Excellent resturant is just opposite. Short walk to a relatively active Ktv bar. I would not hesitate to book again - Terrific value

We loved this place so much! Ray the host is very accommodating and friendly, he is a pleasure to be around. You could chat to him for hours, he has so many great stories to tell. My stay at Hidden Tourist Inn was like a vacation to Heaven. The cozy bungalows are immersed in an amazing garden, full of beautiful plants, trees and flowers, providing shadow and privacy. Bungalows are also equipped with a table and chairs, protected by a waterproof big umbrella. When sitting outside in the evening you can hear the sound of the waves from the sea that is just across the road. They have air-conditioning for an extra charge, in case you want to use the service, otherwise you can just use the fan provided for free in the room. Keep in mind that there is not hot water in the shower, however it was very hot, so I did not need it. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. They also have a bungalow equipped with an eating table, chairs and a kitchen (stoven is present but is not in use, probably for safety reasons). Common areas offer a fridge, dispenser for room temperature water, a dispenser for cold/hot water, a fully equipped kitchen, dishes, tables and chairs, ... and a reception. There is WiFi but the signal could be not so strong all over the property. On request they can arrange transportation from the port/airport, motorbike/scooter rental, or private tuktuk with driver rental if, like me, you are not driving. It is easily accessible from the city center with public tuk tuk transportation for just 15PHP per person per ride, using the green tuk tuk, R-2 TUPSAN. Last bit not least, Bon and Rodrigo are so friendly and kind. Always available for an advice or just for a chat, providing that extra value to your stay. I travelled solo but I was not feeling alone. I hope to come back to visit them.
