Incredible stay. We both felt instantly at peace and in tranquility when we arrived here. The room is stunning and has the cozy wooden cabin feel. Staff were excellent. Stayed in January and it was cold in the evening. Staff drove up to us with 2 extra quilts and 2 extra blankets. So kind. Excellent location. Just perfect 👌

amazing place. it's 5km off the main road to doi inthanon, in a rather non-touristic area. easy to access by motorbike or car. we extended for 3 days and stayed 6 in total. moved from the mud house to the bamboo houses on the top of the hill. both have high quality interior. breakfast a la carte. great coffee from a professional barrista and delicious homemade strawberry pastries. amazingly supportive and friendly staff. absolutely worth a stay.

This is the most special little gem of a place in Thailand!! If you can get yourself here via scooter from Chiang Mai, stay at least 2 nights and soak up the beauty of Doi Inthanon. We chose to stay here instead of the main village and we are so pleased we did! The room itself is basic but has everything you need. Chai went above and beyond to help us and offer us fresh produce from his garden! Their home cooked food was delicious as well. I will never forget the view from this place, so magical. Highly recommend.

I love everything about Motho Homestay. We arrived on a rainy night to a warm welcome. When the morning unveiled the beauty of this place, I was utterly captivated. Our cabin was nestled amidst lush rice farm and jungle-covered mountains, with mist floating on the mountainside, so peaceful and tranquil. I saw dog footprints outside our balcony, chickens strolling freely to get themselves tasty snacks, and rabbits hopping by in twos or threes—every creature seemed to be enjoying their own little paradise here. The homemade breakfast was awesome, nutritious and fresh. The host family is incredibly kind and accommodating, always quick to respond to my questions and needs. The facilities were unpretentious but offered everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Their hospitality made the stay not just comfortable, but truly memorable. The highlight of my stay was the jungle hiking trip, led by a knowledgeable local guide. It was an incredible experience that I absolutely loved. Our guide's expertise, insights about the local environment and wildlife, and his humor made every step fascinating. I genuinely loved every moment of it, and I would highly recommend this adventure to anyone who enjoys exploring nature.

We liked staying there. Amazing views surrounded by mountains. The cottage is simple but comfortable and cozy. A balcony outside with table and chairs overlooking the fields. We were warm inside, enough blankets. Hot nice shower. The homestay belongs to the restaurant just 1 minute ahead run by super friendly Karen family. Breakfast included fresh fruits, coffee, tea, eggs and a delicious local-style rice soup. Pick-up service from Chiang Mai airport. Communication with them through Booking chat was fast and easy. In person we were using Google Translator.
