Ernest is a very friendly and welcoming person. I arrived a 4 in the morning and he was here with a smile to great me. Such a good feeling. The property is beautiful I enjoyed the privacy of the garden to take a look a the beautiful view overlooking the hills of Kampala.

I have never heard if Fred and Winnie's before, even though I have passed by not far from there for many, many years. I was very pleasantly surprised by the "bang for your buck" in the sense of the contained fresh room I had. With a fridge, TV, and very nice showering facilities, good view and all, i coukd not have asked for more. An extensive breakfast and easy order-in options from any restaurants in Kampala, it was excellent. On top if it all though, was the warm hospitality offered by the hosts. I would highly recommend this place.

David is an exceptional host with an amazing sense for the environment in Uganda. He used plastic bottles which laid around in the villages to recycle them and build the small tiny cottages which is all you need. It‘s more like a homestay with a very helpful friend who looks also for your dinner and breakfast. Beside of that David helps you with all the questions for your travellings in Uganda (where are the taxis, how to organize your transport somewhere else and he has s lot off knowledge of all the nationalparks).
