A very quite location, very much felt away from the business of Austin. Ann was the most lovely person, made us feel very welcome and clearly cares very much for the grounds and accomodation. The units are well spaced, we didn't hear any of the other guests and each unit has a good amount of space outside to relax in. The stair case was huge and the accomodation is far bigger than it appears in the photos. If you have hired a car its a good location as you will need to drive to get food or site see. We stayed at 5 different places, this was by far the best for comfort, peace and value for money!

Our stay at Marlen's was great. Marlen is a great hostess. She is originally from Germany and therefore speaks perfect German and English. My son and I stayed with her for one night because we wanted to go tubing in San Marcos on our road trip around Texas. Our bedroom with its own bathroom was very comfortably furnished, the bed was very comfortable. We were allowed to use Marlen's kitchen and living room. Everything was very neat and clean. At breakfast, our wishes were taken into account and because we got along well immediately, she kept us company while we ate. Unfortunately, their rooms were already fully booked for the following days, otherwise we would have spontaneously stayed longer.
