Especially the cheery, funny and welcoming Ms Ivering, and the charming and hardworking concierge Hal. But everyone there, really. And I haven’t even mentioned the gorgeous room! We stayed in Marjorie’s Room (and met the delightful Marjorie during our stay). In particular we loved the back porch and spent several hours sat in rocking chairs soaking up the atmosphere, a well needed break in the middle of a hectic road trip.
