Outstandingly beautiful location and enormous, elegant rooms. Wonderful staff. Owner very warm and welcoming. Also the chef who cooks the breakfast is a lovely person and her breakfasts are delicious.

The host was very helpful. If this is the first place you stay at on your vacation, you might be tempted to use it as the standard to compare the rest!

Grove Lodge is a beautiful home, and I feel privileged to be invited to share it with the owners! Nothing was too much trouble. For me, it was great value, and the excellent breakfast was a bonus!

This charming property opens onto grounds with views of a 12th-century Norman motte fort. Everything about this property is fabulous. Tucked away down country lanes , set on a river. Our welcome was warm and genuine. We found all the staff to be polite and friendly even though they were dealing with a roomful of people.We liked the food so much we had lunch, dinner and breakfast here. Definitely worth a detour.

Extras include ironing facilities. outstanding place, clean, quite and very much welcoming for the owner. We had very nice stay with a quality breakfast, the place is 10 minutes walk form the center with an amazing Ireland landscape view from the window, we highly recommend.
