They generously upgraded our room free of charge, which made our experience even more special. The buffet for both breakfast and dinner offered a delightful mix of international and local cuisine, catering to all tastes. The rooftop pool was absolutely breathtaking, offering a mesmerizing and picturesque view that left us in awe. What truly made our stay exceptional was the staff—they were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. We highly recommend this hotel and would love to come back again!

Kandalama Heritance is a 20-minute drive from UNESCO World Heritage Sites, the 2,000-year-old cave temple at Dambulla and the Sigiriya rock fortress. The 5-star hotel is a 3.5-hour drive from the airport. Our stay at Heritance Kandalama was truly unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, every detail was perfect, and the level of service exceeded our expectations. The staff were incredibly attentive and made sure that all our needs were met. A special thank you to the duty manager, Shantha, whose kindness and exceptional hospitality made our experience even more memorable. His dedication to ensuring we had a wonderful stay was truly appreciated. The hotel itself is stunning, offering breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere that made for a perfect retreat. Each meal at Santani is an experience, and with no printed menus, the chefs propose a menu to each guest based on the dietary preferences and utilizing the fresh organic vegetables grown on site. All room categories are available on a full-board basis. Lovely peaceful location. Birds & greenery everywhere. Staff were exceptional. Food was so good
