Great location in the heart of Tenterfield, but in a quiet spot. Beautifully renovated old hotel, with motel accommodation at the rear, so easy to get a nice meal, beside a roaring fire.

Nice clean room, comfortable bed and good shower. A few steps to the bar for dinner, great food in a nicely renovated pub. Quiet location. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

The motel was great. The recently renovated Hotel exceptional. Passionate publicans who stock quality beverages. I received a historical tour detailing all the preservation and works - great custodians of this remarkable gem.

Royal Motel was in a great location, the staff were literally incredible and the room was modern, clean and spacious. We were running super late due to traffic (pulled in around 9pm) and the staff memeber stayed back to wait for us to show us into our room and provided us with advise on where to eat given we were getting in so late.

Comfortable bed, large bathroom, facilities excellent. Manager was very friendly with lots of information about the area. The old hotel has been very stylishly renovated. Lydia in the restaurant was amazing, very attentive. Will def come back for a longer visit.

Rooms have just been renovated hence were spotless and well appointed. Staff were extremely friendly, and the location being in the centre of town with excellent walking distance from a large number of pubs, cafes and restaurants. Under cover off street parking was also excellent.
