The studio was perfect! It felt very homely and Františkovy Lázně offers a great base to explore the surrounding area. Check in was easy, we were provided with all the information needed and having access to a washing machine was an added bonus. Our favourite part, however, was our own little balcony and terrace for guests on the first floor, which even had a little play area for children.

Right in the centre of Františkovy Lázně, renowned for its spas and mineral waters, Wellness Hotel Ida occupies a building from the 19th century.

The hotel is in a nice location just outside of the center; the place is small, so you can go anywhere by foot or borrow for free a bicycle from the hotel (that is what I did). There were mostly older couples there; I was one of the youngest guests and I am not very young. The staff was very nice and very helpful. As well the personell from the reception as also the personell from the breakfast room; really good!! I had the luxuary single room; not sure what is so luxuary about it; I found it pretty basic; but nothing to complain about. The rainshower was very nice and good; enough pressure. Breakfast was good, with plenty of choice; i liked the toast with poached egg. Parking was 3 euro per day; which I find very okay. The restaurant behind the reception (I believe it is run by a seperate owner) was nice; food was good and servants were very friendly. All with all I had a very nice stay. The price / quality is to my opinion in a good balance.

The location was perfect for us, right in the Forest , a few minutes walk from town. Room was clean, with very comfy beds and of course the decorations was a highlight. But the best was the fantastic reception service we received, with many good recommendations of what to do and where to go. Breakfast quality was the ice on the cake. We loved our stay.

Offering several treatments and an indoor pool, this unique hotel looks like a pyramid. Surrounded by pine trees, it is located in the spa town of Františkovy Lázně.
