Everything was perfect, the hotel was beautiful and in a great location (5 mins walk from the center so it was near but not too loud). The room was gorgeous and breakfast was delicious. We particularly loved the spa where we enjoyed the sauna, steam room and salt room, as well as the outdoor heated jacuzzi. It is expensive but worth it!

Absolute wonderful stay at Hotel Royal Victoria! We had a very nice moment here, the place is perfect, on the lake and well situated in Varenna. The pool, the breakfast, and activities were nice. Exceptional service and warm atmosphere – highly recommended! I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly polite, welcoming, and always ready to help. Their attentiveness made me feel truly cared for. The room was spotless — everything was exceptionally clean, neat, and very cozy. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was immaculate, and every detail showed care and professionalism. A special highlight was the restaurant. Dinner was an absolute delight. I’d like to give special thanks to Maria, our waitress, who was simply amazing — kind, always smiling, and extremely courteous. She made every dinner feel like a special occasion. Overall, I was very impressed and truly enjoyed my stay. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and genuinely great service.

Beautiful location on the Italian side of Lake Lugano, complete on it's own with a small beach, splash pools and water slide, spa, a playground, a fish and turtle pond, childcare and three restaurants. The place was spotless. The service was exceptional! I mean really! Everyone smiles and it felt they are genuinely interested in the people around. They waived off the charges for our second child. :) and sent us bottles of water for the drive back. I've never had that before. We'll definitely go back again.

Located on the lakeside, Hotel Promessi Sposi enjoys beautiful views of Lake Como and of the surrounding mountains.
