I stayed in a studio apartment where kitchenette facilities were brilliant and saved me a lot from eating out. Room was extremely clean and I LIKED that it didn't have daily housekeeping and we could simply request this as needed. The staff were at the ready all the time to assist with anything (including daily service if you wish for it). Location is on the 'quiet' side of Temple Bar district, so easy access to all sites (everything <15 mins walk) but it was cosy and quiet for sleeping.

We had three in our room; parents and one teenager. We were very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and served at your table by very professional staff. The room was amazing with a spectacular view of the perfectly groomed garden and Kilkenny Castle. The location made it easy to see all of the main sites within the townsite and is close to many great pubs and restaurants. A river walk is minutes away and there are plenty of quality shops. Highly recommend fish and chips at Matt the Millar's, just down the hill.

The elegant Iveagh Restaurant serves modern cuisine, whilst the modern C Central bar has a relaxed atmosphere, light snacks and large flat-screen TVs showing news and sports. The staff was exceptional. Although there were some problems in the room, the staff and managers did everything in their capacity to solve the problems and compensate in a very generous manner.

Superior rooms boast 47” Samsung Smart TV, espresso maker, robes & slippers, air conditioning, and enhanced bedroom amenities. All bedrooms feature a work desk and chair, complimentary 1GB high-speed Wi-Fi, a laptop safe, and mini fridge with complimentary water. The room was nice, clean and comfortable. We parked the car in the hotel parking lot without additional payment. Breakfast was rich and tasty.
