This was probably my favorite part of Costa Rica Trip! It was so surreal to spend some time disconnected and surrounded by such beautiful nature. Loved all the trails, but sandaderos in bosque la tigra was my favorite. It’s a primary and secondary rainforest property they have nearby and you can visit it for a small fee. I saw there more wildlife by myself than in any other forests walking with a guide. I did a night tour and we walked around the property, not even rainforest further out, and saw 3 snakes within the first 5minutes, so many frogs and other insects, and the guide was very knowledgable. I also planted a tree there and it was a really beautiful experience of giving back to the nature and community. Overall service is 10/10, always with a smile, always asking a question or two. No connection at all anywhere except the reception, but wifi there is stronger than in most coworkings I have visited here in Costa Rica. The only thing that was challenging for me personally and I have not seen it mentioned in the comments is if you sometimes get car sick, a road to the property will make you car sick, so please have some medicine handy. But it’s the entire area around that is like this, so just accepting it as part of adventure. I recommend staying for 2-3 nights and spending it in the lodge area enjoying the nature, the best disconnection and reconnection with the self “retreat” 🤭

The owner was a very nice man who welcomed us in a special way on arrival. Thank you. The accomodations are 'tents' but very comfortable. Daily breakfast was very good. Generally, continental, but you are offered scrambled or fried eggs cooked to order. Pool area is very nice. Beautiful grounds.

It's a wonder to have such a "private" place in the hyper-touristic El Arenal Volcano area. Just imagine waking up surrounded by colibri and with majestic volcano in front of you. All enjoyed from the comfort of your bed OR hiking the private trails. The owner and his staff are caring for you and fulfil all your needs and wishes. Making sure you enjoy your stay to the fullest. The night trip is a must! No worries about the food - excellent kitchen on site!

I had the opportunity to stay in the cylinder rooms - a very cute and unique experience. The bed was comfy, the AC worked perfect and the secret garden was so pretty especially at night. The staff were friendly and the bathrooms and showers were always spotless! I really enjoyed my stay!

Location was perfect, accommodation was top class. I was met on arrival by Gabby and she was amazing, the following morning we had an amazing breakfast. Highly recommend to anyone travelling in this area.

Everything was amazing. The view is stunning, Wendy and Roger are very nice hosts and super friendly. The dome is abolutely perfect, it has a good size for a couple, hot shower, comfortable bed and a mini kitchen with coffee machine. We higly recommend it!

The property is in a beautiful location on a hill surrounded by nature. It is really quiet and you can hear the birds and monkeys from your room. We stayed in the tent which was really comfortable with a shared bathroom. Everything was very clean. The food was amazing and there are so many activities such as massage, spa and tours. The staff was really friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a peaceful place.

We stayed only for one night but it was just so well designed. At the same time it is very cosy, with the view and the bath tub outside. The host helped us with the luggage as we wanted to check in early. They also booked the shuttle for us and dropped us to the exact spot. Everything worked for us well and we were very happy to enjoy the facilities and the view!
