This was a highlight of our trip in Sri Lanka. The camping is a unique experience with incredible views. Wake up to the sunrise from your bed! The accommodation and bathroom facilities are spotlessly clean and comfortable. Home cooked delicious meals, breakfasts, curries and bbq made with love, all eaten while overlooking the spectacular view. We enjoyed the evening bonfiire chats under the stars meeting fellow travellers. You will be warmly welcomed here by Viraj, Hiran and their kind family. Viraj arranged and guided us on a spectacular waterfall hike, took us shopping in Haputale and we enjoyed a fabulous cooking class with his mother. Jam packed adventure with great hosts. Viraj is very knowledgeable and super helpful.. Highly recommended! Thank you Viraj and Hiran.

The view over the valley was great. Very cozy and comfortable glamping with a great vibe. Kishan provides very good service and help, including arranging a perfect cooking learning experience next door. Well functioning bathroom and shower with hot water. We also had a full day tuk-tuk tour of Ellas interesting places with Kishan - at a very reasonable price. Plenty of chipmunks are climbing just outside the platform and a giant squirrel comes by every morning around 8am. Btw. Tip-top Sri Lanka breakfast (see picture)

Relaxing in a beautiful spot. The pool is nearly in the jungle. Spent the morning on the balcony watching chipmunks and chameleons running through the trees. Beautiful ❤️

The location is perfect, just away from the main part of town so it's quiet but a stone's throw from the Ella train station. Sudha the owner and husband are sooo gosh darn friendly and chatty. We requested home cooked dinners without realizing it was NOT an option for guests at that time but still Sudha generously made us one of the best rice and curry meals in all of Sri Lanka!!!! Nothing beats home cooked rice and curry and coconut sambal!!! You really feel like part of the family and this place is exactly what a true, welcoming home stay should be!

A truely unforgettable experience with Dulara and the team at Ahaspokuna. It’s difficult to pinpoint one thing that stood out as everything was exceptional. The food, the hospitality, the room, the environment, you will not regret staying here! Hope to be back one day. If you’ve read about the leaches, don’t bother worrying, they’re tiny and a non-event.

I recently had the most unforgettable experience at Belihuloya Adventure Camp! Tucked away in the lush highlands of Sri Lanka, this camp is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts. Activity expert Hemantha is highly experienced and ensured safety at every turn, which made the adventure all the more enjoyable. Accommodation at the campsite was comfortable, offering a true "back-to-nature" experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Their passion for the outdoors and commitment to providing a memorable experience really stood out. The food was another highlight – delicious and hearty, perfect after a long day of activities. We were treated to local cuisine with fresh ingredients that really hit the spot. Whether you're looking for an action-packed adventure or a peaceful retreat in nature, Belihuloya Adventure Camp has it all. I recommend this place for any nature lover! I'll definitely be back for more adventures soon.
