SingaporeLovely stay! We stayed three nights and had time to enjoy both Te Anau and Milford Sounds. We were a bit hesitant of the dimensions at first but at the end we ate at home and the kitchen had everything we needed, and having dinner outside in the garden was very peaceful. Overall would recommend!

This is a fine place to stay for a night or two if you’re visiting Doubtful Sound. This was my 3rd stay.
Friendly, helpful staff from all over the world.
Facilities range from tent camping to hook ups and basic cabins with shared ensuite and kitchen or fully equipped cabins with ensuite & kitchenette.
Reasonably priced, beautiful location on Lake Manapouri and within walking distance to the Doubtful Sound cruise.

It's one of a kind... and I liked it. The setting is unique and a mix of camping, dorms and motels in a Westcoast funky setting right by the lake. Reception staff was great! Was in a dorm which was basic but with pretty comfy mattress. Kitchen was okay. Bathrooms in various locations, can't really say much about them as I only stayed for one night. I enjoyed the cozy lounge where I connected with several travellers. Can't beat the price!! And the unique ambience.

I stayed at 1 of the cabins. The room was comfy, had a heater and electric blanket for a cold night. Close to the toilets, and showers. The kitchen was well equiped and everything was tidy and clean. Labels for naming your food was provided. The lounge área was small but very useful and cozy. The was a bonfire for evenings on the yard. Nice touch!

Comfy warm room and good hot shower. Working kitchen. Friendly owner. Beautiful location by forest. Nice to have a campfire.
