Great location in the Manyleti reserve which was really good for game viewings with well organized morning and evening safari drives. We really enjoyed the safari, saw the big 5 and lot of other wildlife in our two days at the lodge. Knowledgeable guides who seemed to love their job. Food was very good. Excellent staff. The tents are comfortable and spread out nicely. There is no fence around the camp, meaning that we had impalas, hyenas and one morning two lions just a few meters from our tent. One day when we had lunch, an elephant came right up to the pool.

My three-day stay at Buffelshoek Tented Camp was nothing short of magical. Waking up to the sounds of the bush and watching wildlife from the deck was unforgettable. Great place. Had some difficulty finding it as the houses are a bit hidden, but afterwards the experience was great. Great accommodation, nice food, and good game drives! Ronny did everything to find the best game for us :)

Very well tended camp in the bush, close to Kruger and several other game reserves. Owner Bhili and staff are very friendly, lovely people. Lloyd cooks delicious breakfast and dinner and is a thoughtfull host. The camp is solar powered so there is no problem with load shedding. Dinner is served in a traditional boma with a fire in the middle. Bhili is a great storyteller and also a very experienced guide with extensive knowledge about animals, birds and plants. The gamedrives where spectacular! The beds are very comfortable, the tents and common areas are very clean and well maintained. Remember you are in the bush in the middle of nature, keep your tent closed or you may have roommates with four or more legs!
