Everything was splendid! Marietta and Willie did an amazing job here. The place is beautiful, feels like being in the jungle. There are animals roaming around and food is fantastic. You have to try the dinner! I used splendid, amazing and fantastic in one review - doesn't happen very often!

Everything, the host, Jacob, was awesome. The location was perfect, we got to interact with some wildlife, which was fun.

Featuring barbecue facilities and free WiFi, Homebase is close to the "Kruger National Park" as well as Lionspruit . Among the various facilities of this property are a garden and viewing deck.

We were late to reach the HomeBase at 6:30 pm as were held in Kruger by Lions and Elephants - blocking the road! And Ian - The owner was very welcoming, and assured even when we were late. On Arrival, he was at the parking of the property - and welcomed us. Showed the room, and gave comfort as Marloth Park is a private Nature Reserve. He was kind to ask for anything to prepare for dinner, after seeing we were late. As my daughter likes Bread and Tomato Ketchup, Ian and Licia, offered it going beyond! Ian took our personal preferences for a Vegetarian diet and ensured breakfast for the next day was ready by 8 am - yogurt, fruit plate, bread, and Omelet for my daughter! It was a wholesome breakfast. The property is Unique: with small ponds, lots of trees, and privacy, and our room was well equipped with AC, a bunk bed, a fridge, a coffee set, and a water Kettle.! Garden has Nice decoration, a setup which was relaxing and soothing! We could see Kudu, Deer, and warthog near the property, and My daughter enjoyed seeing these animals! And At night could hear frogs, Zebra, and crickets! Sharing a positive experience. Overall Stay was awesome! and I recommend the Place and hospitality from Ian and Licia!

Location was wonderful, high density of game especially the cats and antelope, elephants and amphibians The food was great. The rangers and game drives were outstanding especially the sunset drives and sundowners. The room was fine, airy and sunny

We had a fantastic stay at the 3-bedroom house with air conditioning throughout. The highlight was definitely the lovely lapa and jacuzzi where we could relax and unwind. The presence of numerous animals roaming around added to the charm of the place. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway!

Just a few minutes from Crocodile Gate and wonderful views over the Crocodile River where many animals come to drink. Elephants walked within touching distance although there is an electric fence for your protection. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming and all the food we had was exceptional mostly being cooked on the Braai. We spent five nights here and were reluctant to leave. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and highly recommend this lovely lodge.
