When I realized where I was, just the location exceed all expectations! The host/owner was there to give a really warm welcome and he was so friendly and involve that I felt that this place has a sold!

The location is remote, but that's what I went for. I wanted to relax and get away from daily life. The property is gorgeous and has hammocks throughout to read and relax in. I had a little kitchenette with all the necessary utensils and used it for some snack preparation. You can easily order food from some nearby restaurants and they'll bring it to your door. I also had the hotel breakfast delivered to my room, and it was so nice to have a warm and fresh breakfast that I didn't have to prepare. The staff were great and accommodated me showing up a little early and let me into my room. I was given a pipa upon arrival and that was a nice and unexpected treat. Everything is clean and as you'd expect! I stayed in the wooden house and I'll most certainly return.

We were able to experience the essence of Costa Rica, thanks to Lis and Danger, who treated us with such warmth throughout our stay. The room had a wonderful view, the food was amazing and authentic, and the surrounding forest was incredible. We highly recommend it!

Jose is an excellent host who went above and beyond, with pick-up's/drop-off's at check-in and check-out and helping arrange onward transportation from Monteverde.

Javier, Roger and the team were brilliant. They went out of their way to make us feel very special - it was my boyfriend's birthday and they decorated the room to help me surprise him. The tent is spacious, the bed comfortable and humongous and everything you need to make a quick meal if needed. You are surrounded by the forest and you fall asleep to the sound of the forest, wind and rain. We didn't see any animals except a couple of spiders but you hear the birds in trees the moment the sun goes up.

The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, a concierge service and free WiFi. We had an incredible time at Laloon, we stayed here for our honeymoon and couldn’t have asked for better! We stayed here on the second half of our trip and didn’t want to leave our room or that view. The room was spotless and the laundry service was a great feature. Breakfast was consistent, yummy and timely. We had no troubles getting to the hotel with the ATV we rented. We hope to stay here again in the future, if you’re looking for a one of a kind stay with beautiful views this is your spot!
