The whole stay was fantastic from the staff, to the food, to the accommodation everything was high quality.

The sounds of the nature around the property, the kindness of the owners, the delicious real time cooking dinner and breakfast, based on local ingredients, the sunset on my balcony , no mosquitoes at all. I’ll never forget this incredible piece of paradise. Recommended for families but also for romantic couples.

He goes out of his way to make you comfortable at his place and takes you to all the local places in the area. He also used to be a tour guide and safari driver so he has extensive knowledge of Sigiriya and the surrounding places. His family is also super welcoming and his mom cooks the best food. It was an honour to stay with Costha’s place. I really liked how cozy and homey the place felt. There is a dorm room and there is a social bar hangout area, all built by Costha himself. You can really feel the vision and the passion he has for the place.

Loved staying here, I passed through Kandy several times and stayed in a private room and also a tent. Both accommodations are really nice, theres a lovely breakfast and the space in the woods is so peaceful and calm. The room is clean and comfortable and the tent was also pleasant. There's a grocery nearby you can walk to, and the city is not too far off, especially if you have your own wheels. I definitely recommend to anyone staying in Kandy.

The unit offers 1 bed. Piya the owner and Sucheera were wonderful hosts. I had two tuk tuk tours with Piya who even climbed up Pidurangala rock with me and arranged for me to see an ayurvedic doctor. I had the best meal, fish curry and an assortment of vegetable curry made by Piya's wife. I was very sad to leave, a peaceful retreat and would highly recommend for a peaceful unforgettable stay!

A Truly Memorable Stay We had a wonderful two-night stay in a serene and peaceful location. The staff were exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to assist our elderly parents, which we deeply appreciated. The food was absolutely delicious, and the family cottage was spotlessly clean, cosy, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. Our entire family thoroughly enjoyed the experience — highly recommended!
