There is the usual communication difficulties if you don't know Vietnamese but seriously we could make it work. All meals were available with an extensive local menu. They would prepare anything we wanted even if it was not on the menu. All fruit, vegetables and meat & fish was purchased daily from the local market. We wanted a laid back experience after cycling over 500kms prior to our arrival here. We absolutely got it.
