    Great location between town and countryside. Breakfast is served in the Golf Course Club House with views over the course. Great breakfast made to order with a good selection of cereals and fresh fruit.

    It was good having access to a bar. It serves food too, except on Mondays. The room was adequate, with a good bathroom. Nice location overlooking the golf course on the common.

    Staff were friendly, room clean and comfortable , beautiful surroundings with the accommodation being on a golf course. Good choice of breakfast options.

    Excellent choices for breakfast cooked and continental. Staff attentive, friendly and helpful. Lovely room with tea and coffee making facilities. Room overlooking the golf course. We were visiting friends who live a short distance from Somerfield Lodge and intend to return later in the year for another short break.

    The room was really clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and the the golf club was wonderful with lots of memorabilia and a lovely dining area. Breakfast was delicious and the view overlooking the golf course, complete with golfers and sheep in the sunshine was a delight. We will definitely stay at Somerfield Lodge again.

    Comfortable room, with a good selection of tea/coffee making facilities. Ensuite shower room was fine for the couple of days of our stay. Quiet location even though it is part of the golf club, was in a rural area, complete with cattle grid! Good parking facilities. Excellent breakfast choices, we didn't have lunch or dinner, but the restaurant was spacious and comfortable, with splendid views of the golf course.
