Was so relaxing and luxurious with a homely feel. Perfect destination to finish at after the hike from Valbone to Theth. The ladies working there were absolutely gorgeous, so kind and generous. Meals were massive and definitely the best meat I ate in Albania. They accommodated my every need (gave me ice for injuries etc) and had very clear English. Thank you for the lovely stay.

The couple that hosted us, ledio’s parents were absolutely wonderful. Some of the kindest and most welcoming people who also are incredible chefs. We had two dinners and two breakfasts each of which was phenomenal and the highlight of the peaks of the Balkans hike food-wise. A great family hotel. Family: dad, mom and three wonderful daughters! And the main "hoteliers" are these wonderful girls! They are the main marketers. And they are no more than 10-13 years old!!! The place where the hotel is located is fantastic! Mountains-360 degrees! The views are unreal! The hotel is located just above the village and this is a huge plus. Great home cooking. Delicious and hearty breakfast. Dinner (and I recommend having dinner right there, on the spot) from the menu. The girls are also 80th level waiters! Our stay at Bujtina Malaj was fantastic. It was a very cozy place, perfectly located to start our hike from Valbona to Theth the next day. Situated in a very picturesque mountainous area, the landscapes were beautiful. Although this guesthouse doesn't have a restaurant for lunch or dinner, there is another guesthouse nearby, just a 10-minute walk away. The breakfast included in our stay was delicious! The owner was very friendly and made us feel at home. He provided us with great support and directions for our route, and even prepared a sandwich for our excursion. Without a doubt, we recommend this place 100%!

Such a lovely place! We were on a family vacation with 3 kids. The room was basic but clean and comfortable and is really all you need in this place because it all happens outside in the amazing air and view of the mountains. The family running the place is super nice. The kids joined the mother in milking the cow and the goats in the morning, the homemade food was amazing and for our picky eater they especially prepared pasta at our request. The location is amazing for exploring the Theth area (short drive to Theth, blue eye, zipline). Highly recommended!
