We stayed at this delightful family run hotel for one night during a road trip along the Grossglockner Alpine Road. It was a perfect stopover point. The setting is picture postcard pretty and the whole ambience of the place is tranquil and relaxing. We were made to feel very welcome by the friendly owners and were exceptionally well looked after in the evening by our lovely waitress. We had booked a table for dinner and breakfast was included in our room rate. The food in the evening and for breakfast was very good - in the morning our eggs were cooked to order. All in all it was just what we needed and we wouldn't hesitate to go back there.

Great location, with likely the best view of any hotel in the area. Huge room for the price of a regular room, family run, great service and accomodatinf for English speaking. The best breakfast we had in our 10 day European trip. Parking right at the door!

Very nice stylish room and it was quite spacy compared to the info on booking.com. The breakfast was very tasty and Angelika prepared fresh eggs for us. The place itself is located in the heart of Hohe Tauren, close to Grossglockner and there are many mountain trails leading right from there so a great base for mountain hikes.

With mountain views, Camping Gasthof Zirknitzer is set in Großkirchheim and has a restaurant and bicycle parking. The property has river and garden views, and is 48 km from Grosses Wiesbachhorn.

The room was very clean. I don’t eat meat and milk products and they even went and bought vegan milk, cheese and spread for me for breakfast. I liked the hospitality and the location. Very close to the glossglockner and other mountains.

The room was very clean and spacious, with scents of the Alpine flowers. The hosts Ricarda and Andrea were extremely hospitable and helpful. The full breakfast served me well throughout hiking in the snow. Plenty of hiking options and lots of activities for kids. Bus stop literally within a few steps.
