Room nice, beds very comfortable. Very quiet place. 5 minutes by car to the ski lift Katchberg-Aineck. the owners very pleasant. Breakfast was delicious, we were even offered to make a sandwich to take away. Perfect stay, we will come again.

The beds are really comfortable, breakfast is varied, and the staff are nice. The restaurant is also good if you want to eat dinner there. We had the family apartment which is actually really big and spacious too. Every room had its own TV.

The best part of the stay was the warm smile of the 93 year old who runs this bnb. I was unnable to speak to her without google translate as she only spoke German but I think I enjoyed every bit of the warmth in our conversation! Apart from her, stay here for the amazing views from the room balcony and a delectable breakfast spread like you get at home

We stayed here for one night during our summer journey from Bosnia to the Netherlands, and it was a pleasant stopover. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were extremely friendly. The hotel offered a discount at the nearby ski hut for dinner, but we wouldn’t recommend taking it—the staff there were quite rude, and the food was not enjoyable. That evening, we walked to the town center and visited the castle, where we enjoyed a beer and found a restaurant serving much better food for a similar price. Later, we explored the town center further, where there was a lively event—it was very enjoyable. The next morning, we had breakfast included with our stay. It wasn’t extraordinary, but it was filling and gave us the energy to continue our journey. Overall, this is a good place for a simple overnight stop, but if you plan to stay for a week, it might not be ideal. And for dinner, skip the on-site option and head to the castle and town center instead.
