Lovely room, lovely breakfast, stunning location and Christian the owner was brilliant. We used the Gasthof Schontal as a base for travelling to and from Kitzbuhel for a days skiing and the Hahnenkahm races. A half hour drive takes you to Kirchberg in Tyrol where there is free parking and a free shuttle train which takes you into Kitzbuhel itself. Perfect

Cute and clean room in a traditional Austrian chalet! We loved our night in Albach, after a busy few days we were keen for a quiet night in a small Austrian village and this place did not disappoint. The very friendly British lady (sorry I can’t remember your name) who checked us in looked after us well recommending walks, chatting to us over dinner and in the pub and even getting her partner to help us plan our drive routes for the following days. The restaurant and pub onsite were fab! The snitchel was delicious and my partner enjoyed watching the RWC with locals over a few beers. 10/10 would come back.

Amazing weekend. We chose the pension because it's not far to the ski area by car and we were always looking forward to come back in the evening. The rooms and the bathroom are sparkling clean, recently reconstructed and spacious. Plus the sauna (included in price) is an ultimate heaven after a day in SkiWelt. Very easy check-in/out. The owners are absolutely fantastic, we felt welcomed and anytime we needed something they were excited to help us. Cannot wait to come again!

Austrian ambience. Stöcklbauer is Tirol all over the place. We had nice spacious rooms - one with a balcony. Breakfast is outstanding. Hosts are very, very friendly. We would definately like to come back.
