A very comfortable place in a beautiful setting. Coffee machine with excellent coffee provided. We even received a freshly baked braided bread in the morning. Various jams and honey in the fridge. Modern bathroom, shower was great. Very friendly host who sent detailed information before check in. Highly recommended.

Where do I start? I mean this has been one of the best bookings we have had during our one month long trip through Europe. Beautiful place, super clean, amazing beds, well located. 1000% worth it. But what was most incredible, were the hosts. We had an issue with our luggage after leaving and they went above and beyond to help us resolved this issue successfully. Great place, spacious, very welcoming host and games for the children such as ping pong table and table football. We enjoyed the large communal area that we could use and also the well equipped kitchen. We will definitely come back.

Great location, beautiful view, clean and tidy room. As it was off-season for tourists, I was the only traveller in the hotel during my stay, but the manager was still very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was well organised and delicious! The manager prepared an extra croissant for me every day after learning that I like croissants. The shower gel in my room was taken away by a previous guest and the manager replenished it with two, lent me a hairdryer and provided me with extra pillows on request. If you are planning a trip to Château-d'Oex or Montreux, I highly recommend staying at this good value hostel. I will be coming back very soon!
