We loved staying in Smile Jungle Hostel, from the first minute to the last. Gonzalo is an amazing host and this was our favourite accommodation in Central America. You feel right at home because everything you could possibly need is available and Gonzalo is always so warm and positive. Bonus points for su madre and for showing us our first sloth! 😊 Gracias por todo!

Amazing location right in the forest, but close to the road and walking distance to beautiful beach. The house had everything you needed. We were able to see many animals from our terrace. Amazing! Would definitely come back.

Very organic, relaxing vibes, great and helpful owner 😊 you can get easily by local buses to Cahuita, Porto viejo, Manzanillo etc. or visit cacao museum on the other side of the road. We really love the whole location.

The place is full of animals. In their garden you can see sloths, parrots, toucans, frogs, iguanas,even kinkajou. Pierre, the host was so nice and teached us how to find animals

Cahuita Inn is an oasis on the southern Caribbean coast of Costa Rica. Exceptional value for money, standing out head and shoulders above anything else we found in Costa Rica in this mid range price bracket. Contemporary comfort, style, security, wonderful service, delicious food, calm atmosphere, beautiful hammock strewn palm grove right on the ocean, with waves rolling in on your doorstep. Elisa and her mother were wonderful hosts! Extremely friendly, have great local recommendations and made me feel welcome as part of the family straight away. The house is very peaceful and a great place to relax, with easy access to Playa Negra, several local bars and a short walk to the centre of Cahuita and Cahuita National Park. You can see numerous animals in the surroundings (I saw a little Capybara 🥹). Casa Aldirica is a fantastic place to stay and I would whole-heartedly recommend it! Pura Vida 😊

Vladimir was a wonderful host, the position was amazing and the room very comfortable. There were two fans in the room so we had no problem with the hot weather.
